Hey folks! Been a while since I’ve emailed. I’ve been building up Roots & Fruit and going to PressConf, Checkout Summit, WordCamp Europe, and pushing out more episodes of WP Product Talk.

I’m going to continue doing that; but primarily from my Roots & Fruit website going forward.

My latest piece is the kick-off of a series on Agent Skills I’ve been developing for various marketing tactics. One thing I’ve been saying over and over is that the actual tactics and work of marketing have not changed; but AI can help you do those things more quickly. But only if you know what to do in the first place. A simple one-file agent skill that says “optimize this page for SEO” is not going to cut it.

Which is why I’m trying to build them out from an actual marketing technologists perspective.
